Dr. PJ Edmund, Sr., is widely respected as a key voice and mind in the educational development and leadership training community. He is celebrated for his in-depth examination and powerful biblical presentations.  There is a need for pragmatic, relevant instructors who can communicate and demonstrate an accurate, substantive vision for reaching this generation of leaders. Dr. PJ is such a professional.

As President, Dr. PJ provides oversight of the college’s mission, operations, and expansion, and functions as the primary caretaker of EDSI vision, values, culture, and processes, bears primary responsibility for the college’s alignment with its core values; represents/champions the college to outside agencies, organizations, churches, alumni, marketplace, and donors; leads the ongoing development of the college’s effectiveness, advancement, and innovation; performs a variety of routine and special administration duties: provides oversight of EDSI Leadership Team.

Dr. PJ Edmund, Sr., is a seasoned educator, professional trainer, seminar leader, and corporate retreat facilitator. He is the esteemed President of Edmund Divinity School International, a senior executive advisor, consultant, author, and successful businessman, and the Founder and Senior Training Consultant/Facilitator for PJ Edmund Leadership Institute, the training arm of PJ Edmund Enterprizes, LLC. Within the field of professional trainers, PJ Edmund is highly regarded for his challenging, high-content message and his practical, revealing approach to the training challenges and innovative opportunities that organizations of all sizes face today.

          Dr. PJ has over twenty years of experience in teaching, training, and development across the higher education, corporate, government, and nonprofit sectors. In corporate America, he has served in various capacities, including Executive Director of Training for a Social Services agency in Washington, DC, specializing in program development for staff in the Foster Care industry, an Assistant Vice President in Student Development in an urban Community College, specializing in New Student Orientation, Career and Academic Counseling, and Enrollment Management (Admissions). As Adjunct Faculty in Continuing Education, including Adult Basic Education (ABE), and Pre-GED preparation. His experience extends to Europe, specifically England, where he worked as a Staff Trainer and Facilitator at Avon County and the University of the West of England.

            Dr. PJ has earned a PhD in Philosophy in Christian Counseling & Psychology, a master’s in theology, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He is both humbled and honored to be the proud recipient of two Honorary Doctorates in Divinity and Humane Letters, as well as recognition by Howard University of Washington, D.C., with the Chief Executive Award in Christian Leadership. Currently, he serves as the founder of Edmund Divinity School International, Inc., in partnership with Cornerstone Christian University and Seminary, overseeing the instruction of Kingdom leaders pursuing theological degrees from the Associate’s to the Doctoral level.   

            Dr. PJ has authored nineteen (19) books targeting leadership development and empowerment. He has been married to Michelle Edmund for thirty-six (36) years, and together they have been blessed with three gifted children, PJay, Jr., Brittany, and Eryka Christine, daughter-in-love of Michelle Edmund, and four grandchildren, Tyler, Tayler, Talia, and Tymir Edmund.
